Who: Members, Scholars, and Friends

Why: In the words of Theodora M. Lauterbach: Astronomy, the oldest of sciences, is education in its purest form, for astronomy exists only because people want to know and understand the universe that surrounds them.

Where: Allegheny Observatory at Riverview Park 

Agenda: There will be a film presentation, walking tour of the building, and end up viewing through the 13" Fitz-Clark refractor.
