Donor Appreciation

The Donor Appreciation Program is on September 28, 2017, from 6 PM-8:30 PM, at the University Club on The University of Pittsburgh's campus. The Donor Appreciation Program is hosted alternating years by our University partners, the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, as a special Fall event recognizing all of our donors and featuring all of our scholars.  We thank the University of Pittsburgh for hosting it this year. The special guest speaker is Nathan Urban, Vice Provost for Graduate Student Studies and Strategic Initiatives. Dr. Urban was the recent head of the Department of Biological Sciences at CMU and founder of their BrainHub initiative.  He is a distinguished neuroscientist and also the Associate Director of The University of Pittsburgh's Brain Institute, and Co-Director of the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (a joint program with CMU), which has successfully promoted collaborations across these two universities, in the area of cognitive neuroscience training and research.  All members and a guest, all current Scholars, and Scholar Alums from the last two years are encouraged to attend. Paperless Post invitations have been sent by The University of Pittsburgh, so please RSVP using your Paperless Post invitation. If you have any questions about this program, please email Denise Mieszkowski (Donor Relations, The University of Pittsburgh) at mdenise@pmhsf.org or Pam Meadowcroft (ARCS Co-President) at pmeadowcroft1@gmail.com.
