Our first scholar award in 2004 set in motion 15 years of awards at Carnegie Mellon University and 10 years at the University of Pittsburgh. By spring 2020, we will have raised funds to support a cumulative total of 160 scholars. We are thrilled to celebrate this significant anniversary with a stellar event on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the iconic Mellon Institute in Oakland. The architecturally and historically significant setting with music provided by our scholars will serve as the backdrop to the program of honoring our past and looking to the future. In an engaging, lively fireside chat, a panel of exceptional industry, academic, and policy leaders will discuss “The Future of Scientific Research.” An art auction will close the evening – you will not want to miss celebrating our anniversary with us.
